The Delhi University(DU) was established in the year of 1922 by the state govt. of Delhi. The Delhi University is going to issue the application form for taking admissions of students in various PG courses(DU M.Tech Admissions 2015-16,DU LL.M Entrance Test 2015,DU MA Entrance Application Form,DU M.Com Admission Form 2015-16,DU ME Admissions 2015-16,Delhi Univ MFA Admission 2015,University Of Delhi M.Sc Entrance Test 2015 ). This is the dream of so many students to study under Delhi University and to complete their Graduation or Post Graduation from Delhi University or affiliate colleges. The intending candidates are advised to fill their application forms which will be available from the 1st April 2015 on the official website of Delhi University.

The Candidates can apply through only online mode as per the official notification. All departments, and faculties will have to report to DU because from this year online registration will be centralized.

The Admission of candidates will done through entrance exam, 50% admissions will be done through entrance and 50% admissions will be done through direct admission.

The Entrance exam will be commenced from 1 June 2015 to 30 June 2015dupdupp

How to apply for Delhi University PG Admissions 2015

Dear candidates you should fill your applications through online mode we are going to tell you how to apply for PG Admissions step by step which are mentioned below:

  • Log on to admission website of DU www.admission.du.ac.in
  • Select the online application option or “Apply online”.
  • Choose your desired course in which you want to study.
  • Enter your personal details (Name, Nationality, parents name, DOB, Category, Mobile NO, E-mail address, upload your photo and signature, Educational Qualification) etc;
  • After filling the entire information you get two options 1) Reset the form 2) Save and go to payment
  • Reset the form is used to edit the application form once again
  • Save and go to payment option is used to fill the application fee
  • Fill your application fee through Net banking, Bank Challan, Debit card and Credit card.
  • After depositing the application fee you get a acknowledgement page with print out option so as to you can print the acknowledgement page for further uses.

Age limit: There is no age limit for taking admission in PG courses. A candidate of any can apply for PG admissions.

Application Fee: For Gen and OBC category application fee- 500Rs

For SC, ST and PWD application fee- 250 Rs

Eligibility Criteria

Faculty of Science

  • Sc. (Zoology): The candidate should have a degree of B.Sc. (Hons.) Zoology/Applied Zoology from Delhi University only with 60% marks.
  • Sc. (Anthropology): The Candidate should have a degree of B.Sc. (Hons.) Anthropology from Delhi University only with minimum 50% marks.
  • Sc. (Botany): The Candidate should have a degree of B.Sc. (Hons.) Botany from Delhi University only with minimum 60% marks.
  • Sc. (Physics): The Candidate should have a degree of B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics from Delhi University only with 60% marks in main subject.
  • Sc. (Chemistry): The candidate should have a degree of B.Sc. (Hons.) Chemistry University of Delhi only with minimum 60% marks in main subject.
  • MSC (informatics): Candidate should have a degree of BE/BSC/B.Tech in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognized University.
  • Sc. (Geology): The Candidate should have a degree of B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology

From Delhi University only with 60% marks in main subject.

5% relaxation for SC/ST/PWD candidates for above mentioned courses.

Admission process in MSC:

The candidate will be selected on the basis of obtain marks in Graduation and Entrance Test.

Faculty of Applied Social Sciences & Humanities

  • D. in Russian: The Candidate should have a degree of Post graduation with valid score form a foreign University.
  • M-Phil in Russian: The Candidate should have a degree master degree in appropriate branch or equivalent from degree of foreign University of
  • A. in Russian: The Candidate should have a degree of graduation in Russian Language & Literature and graduation in any other subject or Advanced Diploma course in Russian from University of Delhi.

The Candidates will be selected on the basis of Marks obtained in Entrance Exam.

Faculty of Arts

M.A. Aplied Psychology: The candidate should have a degree of BA (Hons) with Applied Psychology subject with 60% marks from Delhi University are eligible to take direct admission.

M.A. Arabic: The Candidate should have a degree in one of them BA (Hons), BA (Pass), BSC (Hons/Gen), B.Com, MA/M.Com/MSC with minimum 50% marks from Delhi University or recognized University.

 M.A. Budhist: The Candidate should have a degree of Bachelor in any discipline with minimum 40% marks from Delhi University or from other recognized University.

 M.A. English: Without Entrance: The Candidate should have a degree of BA (Hons) with 60% marks for General candidates and 54% marks for OBC/PWD/SC/ST candidates from Delhi University or from other recognized University.

With Entrance Exam: Degree of BA (Hons) with 45% marks for General Candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates from Delhi University or from other recognized University.

 M.A. French/German/ Italian/Hispanic:  With Entrance: Graduation in any subject with 40% marks from DU or from other recognized University.

Without Entrance: Graduation in concerned subjects with 40% marks from Delhi University or from other recognized University.

M.A. Hindi:

Direct admission: The Candidate should have a degree of BA (Hons) with 62% marks from a recognized University.

Through Entrance Test: The Candidate should have a degree of graduation with 50% marks from a Delhi University.

 Master of Library & Information Science: Direct admission Degree of B.LI. Sc from University of Delhi with 60% marks.

Entrance Exam: Degree in Concerned programme with 50% or above marks in aggregate of education from University of Delhi or any other University.

M.A. Modern Indian Literature & Literary Studies: Direct admission: Bachelor degree of similar course with 60% marks from DU.

Entrance Exam: Degree of BA in any discipline with 50 from DU or any other University.

M.A. Persian: The Candidate should have a degree in one of them BA/BSC/B.Com/MA/MSC/M.Com with 45% marks from Delhi University or from any other recognized University.

 M.A. Philosophy:  The candidate who has the degree of BA (Philosophy) with 60% from DU is directly admitted for MA Philosophy and those candidates who have the degree of BA (Philosophy) with 50% marks are must crack the Entrance Exam.

 M.A. Psychology: The candidate should have a degree of BA (Psychology) with 60% marks from Delhi University or from any other recognized University.

 M.A. Punjabi: The candidate should have a degree of BA in any subject with 40% from Delhi University or any other University.

 M.A. Sanskrit: Direct Admission: The candidate should have a degree of BA (Hons) Sanskrit with 60% from DU.

Through Entrance Test:  BA (Hons/Prgm) in any subject with minimum 50% marks from DU or any other University.

 M.A. Urdu: Candidate should have a degree of BA (Urdu) with 60% marks from DU for Direct Admission.

Entrance Exam:  Degree of BA in any discipline with 50% marks from DU or any other University.

M.A. BENGALI: The Candidate should have a degree of BA (Hons) – in any subject and BA Pass in Bengali with minimum 45% marks form DU or recognized University.

M.A. LINGUISTICS:  The Candidate should have a degree of BA (Hons/Program)/B.Com/B.SC/BED/MA/MSC/MED with 50% marks from a recognized University.

Faculty of Commerce  

 Direct admission

M.Com (Hons) – Candidate should have a degree of concerned qualifying examination of Delhi University with Gen -65%/ OBC-58.5%/SC/ST/PWD- 60%.

M.Com (Pass) or M.Com (Degree) – Candidate should have a degree of concerned qualifying examination from DU and from any other recognized with Gen- 70%/OBC- 63%/SC/ST/PWD-65%.

Through Entrance Test

M.Com (Hons): The candidate should have a degree of concerned qualifying examination from DU and any other University with 50% for Gen, 45% OBC and PWD/SC/ST- 45%.

M.Com (Pass) or B.Com (Degree): The candidate should have a degree of concerned qualifying examination from DU and any other University with 55% for General Candidates/OBC- 49.5% and CW/PWD- 50%.

M.A. (Hons.) Economics: The candidate should have a degree of concerned qualifying examination from DU and any other University with

Gen- 50%

OBC-   45%

CW/PWD: 45%

Faculty of Law

LL.M: A candidate should have a degree of three-year/five-year LL.B with 50% marks for general and 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates degree will be Delhi University or a recognized University.

Candidate will be selected on the basis of merit list in the LL.M. Entrance Test 2014.

Faculty of Department of Music

  1. A (Hindustani Music) vocal /Instrumental: Degree of BA Hons (Music)/BA pass with Music with 50% marks from a recognized University.

M.Tech. Nuclear Science & Technology

Eligibility

1) Candidate must have qualified the Joint Admission Test (JAM-2014) to M.Sc. in Physics conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs)

2) M.Sc. Admission Entrance Test-2014 for Physics conducted by the University of Delhi.

M.Tech. [Chemical Synthesis and Process technologies

Candidate should have a degree of B.Tech in appropriate branch with minimum 50% marks degree will be of a recognized University.
