DU MBBS | BDS Admission Counseling Allotment 2017 Dates, Merit List:
The Department of Delhi University (DU) is going to conduct the counseling rounds for made admissions under the MBBS and BDS program. There will be no entrance exam conducted by the Delhi University for made admissions under the MBBS and BDS programs. Admissions of candidates will be made on the basis of rank obtained in All India Pre Medical Dental Test (AIPMT)- 2017.
DU MBBS | BDS Admission Counseling Rounds 2017
As per the notification unveil by the official, after the declaration of AIPMT 2017 the University of Delhi shall publish shortly the admission form for counseling through the university portal. The Delhi University (DU) counseling for MBBS & BDS Course will be start from the August 2017.
The candidates who were participated in the AIPMT 2017 may apply for admission under DU for MBBS and BDS programs. The application forms will be submitted till the last date of submission in the office of Faculty of Medical Science.
Merit list for Admission:
The general candidate who has obtained 50% marks in the AIPMT 2017 is eligible to participate in counseling round. The SC/ST candidate who has obtained 40% marks in the AIPMT 2017 is eligible to participate in the counseling and seat allotment rounds of MBBS and BDS programs. Candidates will be call for counseling as per their rank in AIPMT.
The counseling schedule and venue for admission into MBBS and BDS program will be notified later by the department of Faculty of Medical Science University of Delhi through the official website.
Delhi University MBBS & BDS Counseling Procedure 2017
The candidates would be called in the counseling hall for counseling to allot a course (MBBS / BDS) in a particular college (LHMC/ MAMC/ UCMS/MAIDS). At his / her turn of the counseling the candidate would be informed of the courses and the colleges in which the courses are available. From the courses and the colleges available at the time of his/ her counseling, he/ she would be entitled to select only one course in any particular college and he/ she would be allotted a seat in the selected course in the selected college.
Waitlisted List Candidates
The candidates who were present for counseling and were not offered any seat due to allotment of all seats before their turn of counseling, shall be waitlisted and will be required to submit their options in respect of course and college on the prescribed Proforma. The candidates who were absent on the specified date of counseling shall not be waitlisted. The candidates who have not opted any seat at the time of counseling shall also be waitlisted
The candidate will be issued admission letter by hand after counseling. The candidates must report to the college concerned up to the date mentioned in their admission letter for completing the requirements for admission, failing which his/ her admission is liable to be cancelled.
