40% Passing Marks Aggregate Condition In CBCS Passing Criteria 2015

In Delhi University (DU) at graduation level Choice Base Credit System (CBSC) has implanted. The academic and executive council of Delhi University has finalized the examination formula. The passing criteria which is made for CBCS, there is a provision of aggregate marks.

40% Passing Marks Aggregate Condition

The aggregate marks of student including all the subjects must be equal to 40% because only those students will declared qualified whose aggregate marks will be 40%.

Theory and Practical marks calculation

The passing criteria which are made for CBCS, marks of theory and internal assessment will be calculated for final marks. What happened earlier,  student have to qualify separate in theory and practical but from now the student has to 40% in aggregate of theory or practical.

Let’s assume that there are 5 subjects and each subject will carry maximum 100 marks so the total mark comprising by examinations are 500 marks so in which student have to obtain 75 marks for theory and 25 for internal assessment for qualifying subject.

But know after changing rules student have to total 40 marks in each subject and in which marks of both theory and internal assessment will be included.

Due to this the numbers of passing students will in increase.
